CHALLENGE: Despite broad public support, Seattle Out & Proud had been experiencing difficulties securing corporate sponsors and attendance was dropping. 

SOLUTION: RocketDog worked with the team at Pride and their board to develop a strategic roadmap, a comprehensive identity system and a multi-channel marketing plan. Our “Over the Rainbow” campaign focused on the classic film The Wizard of Oz, and the symbolism it has with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and straight markets. After all, there’s no place like home. RocketDog rolled out a multitude of executions ahead of schedule and on budget, including transit ads, print ads, digital ads, Websites, email campaigns, event collateral and merchandise. The new brand and campaign garnered an overwhelmingly positive response from the community and shattered all financial expectations including overall revenue and multi-year sponsorship commitments. Additionally, event attendance was 200% of expected numbers.
