HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT 

MUST HAVE Creative/Design Agency Experience with a Proven Track Record of Selling 1 Million Dollars in Creative Services (Print and Digital Design Services, Brand Strategy, Branding, Marketing Campaigns and Advertising Campaigns into Corporate clients)

Are a self-starting, on-point, take-charge kind of Business Development leader, looking to leave your mark on the clients you work with and are excited about being an integral part of growing RocketDog to a multi-million dollar office with a long-term vision for multiple offices. You like working with a tight-knit group of fun creative geniuses and awesome clients. You have a damn big network, and have the uncanny way of knowing just who to talk with to get the deal. You embrace the creative flow and aren’t put off by going beyond your job description when called on. You’ll focus on customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management, as this role will garner and meet with potential clients. You’ll will be responsible to research client business referrals, network, and web leads; provide prospective customers/clients with all services offered and additional presentations as needed, and work with clients to create solutions for their needs and consult throughout the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with the owner to develop a plan for achieving key KPIs that secure, retain, and grow accounts
  • >Has a deep relationship of delivering creative services with key clients and industries in like Microsoft, Healthcare, and the Tech/Professional Services industries
  • Able to drive revenue consistently and maintain a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software
  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
  • Building business relationships with current and potential clients
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients
  • Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process
  • Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals
  • Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 plus years Business Development experience preferably in an agency or high-tech environment
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and Adobe InDesign
  • A self-starter able to work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Experience with lead generation and prospect management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated and proven sales results

Salary:

Salary will be set on a Base+Commission style
